Have you tried disabling WPA2 completely & going with zero security? I’m not saying this is the end-solution, but would be something I’d recommend to eliminate that as a problem.

When setting up the WPA2 key, you are getting prompted & entering in the key? Basic question, you probably have, but I have to ask. Have you checked your router’s log & see what errors / log entries are being generated when you try to connect? If you say your adapter is seeing it, but isn’t connecting, the log may have an entry that tells you if the router is the one refusing the connection and why it’s refusing the connect (duplicate IP for example). I have a few things that I would recommend to further debug this, in no particular order except for #1 which you should do first: The router is using WPA2 I’m not sure what you mean by wireless security otherwise. My keyboard, mouse, and wireless audio are all using USB ports with no other issues. I have moved the device onto other USB ports. Other devices can connect with no issues, correct. This is actually a different router - this one is the one provided by Verizon for their FIOS system. I’ve had USB ports go bad, so that’s why I’m asking.ĭesktop, yes. It really feels like it’s a router issue, like static IP vs dynamic IPs, or having some sort of policy that can exclude your IP, but then you can plug in via hard-cable and you can connect fine - that’s really a pickle and points to the USB adapter - hence the Q’s on whether you can use other USB adapters just fine.
PAUO6 PANDA WIRELESS DRIVER
I tried updating the adapter driver and Windows 10 says the driver I have is current.Īny ideas? I’m temporarily connected by a long-ass wire running down the stairs but that’s obviously not going to work for a long-term solution.

I tried disconnecting all my devices so it was just my mouse + keyboard and the wireless adapter - no change. It also gums up windows tasks so nothing else windows-related responds. The adapter sees my network, but when I try to connect it just sits there saying “Verifying and Connecting” - it will do that forever, and never time out or give an error or respond in any way. Since the initial problem I’ve upgraded to Windows 10.Īnd the adapter I just purchased is a Panda 300Mbps Wireless N USB Adapter However, we’ve now moved into a new house and I’m theoretically just using a wireless connection - and I even bought a brand-new wireless adapter that’s supposed to work fine but I’m having the exact same issues … can’t connect to any network.
PAUO6 PANDA WIRELESS DRIVERS
I didn’t worry too much about it at the time since I had a wired connection and because my adapter was really old and I figured the drivers were probably just out of date. After a random update, the wireless stopped working.
PAUO6 PANDA WIRELESS WINDOWS 7
I’m sort of frustrated with an issue where I can’t connect using a wireless adapter.Ī couple of months ago I was running Windows 7 and everything was working fine.
